The majority of the Monsters issue is a transcript of a conversation between the authors about monsters, The Munsters, female vampires, quality horror movies, and the connection between social issues and fear of media monsters. The issue also includes a Beats comic, diary entries from Serena's trip to Mexico, word origins for names of famous monsters, zine ads, and profiles of Seattle monster-related cafes. Davida Gypsy Breier contributes a letter to the editors.
